I just got invited to a "goth baddies assemble" group on Instagram and the contents sickened me. What I didn't show here that was also in the chat was clip art of sexual acts. All from the people you see in the screenshots. It was disgusting to see, and infuriating. The constant fetishization of the subculture pisses me off on a daily damn occurrence. I reported the chat itself and the people, but I of course doubt that IG will even do a damn thing. I felt the need, amidst my agitation lmao, to come to reddit to vent about it and use it as an opportunity for discussion on how you as individuals feel about this constant issue and what you do to prevail over this and any experiences you've had related to being sexualized and objectified without your consent, when just trying to exist and mind your business.

(And if any of yall feel the desire to seek out that scum and mass report them, that would just be sweet, sweet justice 🤭 but that's just a bonus lol)

Hi I just crave for in person contacts with people who likes similar music to me.

I actually love the whole discography of Killing Joke and The Soft Moon, but I'm also crazy about several songs from: Skinny Puppy, Drab Majesty, the Cure, Asylum Party, The Danse Society, NIN, Slowdive, Joy Division, The Birthday Party, Hocico, I adore DJ sets of Alec Empire (ATR).

I said Poland because I'm already living here but I'd love to chat in English lol.

Hope this question is allowed to ask, please let me know. I'm wondering if there is a subreddit or even another website or platform similar to this one to talk all things goth but a bit more casual and less needing to talk about ONLY goth stuff if makes sense? Like we can chat about our days and lives and interests we have that arent necessarily goth but it is still a community for goths, and still a place to share goth music and fashion and stuff. I'd love a place like that if anybody could recommend one
